Here there some of the ways which ensure safety during the time I will be carrying out my personal exercise programme. Fortunately I have no medical conditions, but I may have had to modify my programme if I had for example muscle or joint problems, high blood pressure or seizure disorders. As I have none of these I hope o perform at a high level. A very important part of safety is that each time you attempt any physical exercise you should make sure you perform a proper warm-up, stretching exercises and cool down. This will decrease the chance of injury as it will increase the blood flow around the body and prepare the muscles for the work that is about to be undertaken. Do not rush the exercises that you perform there should always be care taken to complete the movements slowly and controlled especially when lifting weights this will not only prevent injury but it will get the best out of your workout. In this programme as it I the first time that I have performed a programme like this I should be careful to start off lifting lighter weights.
