In case of regulation of the latest use of new technology called Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP), there have already been two camps battling over the necessity of regulation of this tool. I strongly believe that VoIP should be allowed to grow free of regulation. ... VoIP is an infant technology and it should be allowed to develop without any regulatory restraints. ... There are only 100,000 or so customers currently using VoIP and therefore it is still an open question whether it will gain a significant market share and succeed as a new technology. But even if VoIP does not end up to be a big success some other faster, better and cheaper technology will be more likely to emerge due to regulation-free approach.
