what was the nature of the conflict in the Solomon islands?
the conflict in the Solomon islands were caused by the lack of employment, the people of the islands were starting to loose their jobs and a great mass of unemployment rates went up,
the islands around the Solomon’s started to rebel against each other.
it all started a little while back when the instabu freedom movement began to force Malaitian out of the islands, accusing them of taking land and jobs. the people had to abandon their homes, with the majority of them soon leaving the Guadalcanal, a rival militia group and the Malaitian eagle force, staged a coup in June 2000 and was trying to get the prime minister to resign because he has failed to address the crisis the was happening which has led up to hundred’s of people dead in the islands. ...

since the arrival of the Australian and regional forces, for what the local Solomon islands refer to as " the intervention" the amount of violence have decreased in the Solomon islands.
