There are many reasons why by the 19th century news was seen as a piece of mass communication they range from the political to the financial. In this essay I am going to show how certain events throughout the 19th century helped news to been seen a mass communication. An example of this is the Industrial Revolution, which industrialized the way news was report and produced.
Carrying on from this I will talk about how inventors like Alexander Bell invented machines that helped news to become a piece of mass communication. Another factor that I will include is the way in which because of improved transportation in the UK allowed the news owners to publish more copies of their products for sale across the Uk.
