The story of A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, supports the two morals that money does not give happiness, and that the fortunate should give to the less fortunate. There are many characters in this novel but they all fit the plot of a rich man, Ebenezer Scrooge, who is greedy and refuses to share money or time with his family and employees during the Christmas season. These characters are Scrooge, The Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of Christmas Present, The Ghost of Christmas Future and, Bob Cratchit.
