In today’s society, people are getting married at a much younger age. There are many reasons why teenagers feel like they need to grow up so soon. First they feel that they are mature and responsible enough to make a relationship work. Another reason is that they feel that as long as they love one another, their marriage will last. That is not the case. Many times people divorce over financial problems and stress from child rearing. Teenagers at this period in time are still experiencing life and a lot of them are still trying to find out who they are as a person. They are still trying to find their place in society. People who marry early do not have the chance to live there life to the fullest. They hurry up and settle down with a spouse and children. After a few years of being married, they regret that they were not able to finish school, and live the college life.
