I’m sure most of you are familiar with the saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” or have heard it at least once in your life, it’s a pretty common phrase used in this world because its as true as can be. In the film Breakfast Club we see a variety of different characters from the same school serving a Saturday in detention together in the library, and how each one held a certain image about one another. Fights and arguments happened between them over small things, since neither really knew a thing about each others lifestyle or personal life. Only what was seen through the outside image, so easy assumptions were made. Now in Berne’s article “Can people be judged by their appearance?” He gives us real scientific facts on basic human types. Where even there being facts on people based on there physical appearance, there is still the question whether or not people can be judged b their appearance. Berne’s describes to us the 3 types of people (men) there are in this world based on there physical appearance. Not saying it’s a 100% accurate on how his personality is but how you can tell a good chunk about them from just there looks. The 3 kinds of men he mentions are the , the , and the . In other words the fat and jolly who loves food and wants to be accepted by everyone, the serious, strong , muscle builder who wants to dominate people around him, and last but not least the weak who could care less about his appearance or how people perceive him as, socially isolated and absent minded.
