     Comprehending the basic sailing terminology is a necessity for the novice sailor, because saying, “Grab the whatchamacallit,” never goes well regardless of what kind of sailing vessel your on. Starting with the most basic and probably the most recognized of sea terms is boat, a vessel for travel on water. ... With this, two terms are used to describe the main areas of the boat. ...
