USAG LEVELS Our USAG team consists of levels 3-10. This is our more intensive team program. This team will compete only at USAG sanctioned meets. Our USAG team requires dedication, hard work, and time commitment. This is a breakdown of all the levels: Level 3 This is the first level of competition. It is a fairly new level for USAG. This level makes it easier for gymnasts to start competing earlier in their gymnastics careers. The gymnast must be at least 5 years of age to compete at this level. At this time, there is no state meet competition. Level 4 This is also a basic level of compulsory. The gymnast must be at least 6 years of age in order to compete. This level focuses on entry level of gymnastics and dance skills. Competitions include invitationals and conclude at the State Championships. Level 5 This is the third compulsory level. The gymnast must be 7 years of age in order to compete. This level builds on the Level 4 routines. The skill level is more difficult and the gymnast is expected to show greater flexibility and will use more of the competitive equipment, such as using the real vault and going to the high bar.
