Odysseus, from the epic The Odyssey which was formulated by a man named Homer, is a good leader because in his adventures, he portrays courage, integrity, strong-will, intelligence, confidence, control over the situation, calmness when faced with a problem, faith in his followers, faith held for him as well, and if not, the ability help them regain faith in him.
In Odysseus’ encounter with Polyphemus, he had lost six men, but managed to save the rest of his men by getting Polyphemus drunk and stabbing him in the eye with a charred wooden spike that he came up with.
