Chapter Problems (unit 1) 1) 2)I believe the most efficacious of the three graphs used, would be the pie graph. This is because in a pie graph percentages are often shown so that a reader is able to discern visually the statistics that are provided. Population is the focal point of these graphs and can be often (as in this case) referred as a percentage. Thus when the information (such as the info on page 2) is stated as a percentage a pie graph is the most prolific graph to use. 3) Series 1: The age group of 0-5 Series 2: The age group of 5-19 Series 3: The age group of 20-44 Series 4: The age group of 45-64 Series 5: The age group of 65+ 4) Series 1: This age group is ever decreasing as the years pass by.
