“Men hate each other because they fear each other, and they fear each other because they don't know each other, and they don't know each other because they are often separated from each other.” (Martin Luther King) Can’t we all just get along? America is supposed to be the most powerful and advanced nation, but why do we hate others for things they can’t help? The idea of cultural diversity needs to be given to us while we are young and open-minded. When is a better time than college? The ideas we are given by our parents are not our own. We need to be given a chance to learn the facts about the way other people live, and make our own choices about what we will be tolerant of. We can not always listen to our elders when sometimes they are feeding us a load of “bull”.
