September 11, 2001 was the first day of the rest of our lives as our illusions of invulnerability went up in flames along with the twin towers, a day that forever changed our world, a day the put wholes in the sky and in our hearts. It is still and most certainly will always be in my memory for the rest of my existence. I will always remember where I was and what I was doing when I found out the towers had been struck by terrorists. I was working at a place called APAC, where I was a telemarketer. I got a beep on my computer letting me know there was a call to New York waiting for me. As soon as I answered the call and let the person on the other end know I was soliciting long distance services the lady started yelling at me calling me every name in the book.
