... SAP Security Administrator
Security administration will be performed centrally by the Information Technology Department. It is expected that the designated SAP Security Administrator will have primary responsibility for administering security on the SAP system. Designated personnel from IT Department will perform a back-up role to the primary SAP Security Administrator.
The SAP Security Administrator will be responsible for the following tasks for all operations that will be using SAP:
l Front-line password support for all SAP end-users
l Unlocking and Locking SAP User ID’s
l Create and remove functional end-users and technical support team users
l Maintain end-user and support team access
l Modify, when necessary, standard SAP security configuration to support Client business requirements
l Identify and communicate to management potential security issues
l Audit help desk responsibilities and modifications to security
l Audit end-user and support team access
l Maintain and communicate parameter settings for each system
l Maintenance and publication on the Intranet of the SAP security policies and procedures manual and SAP access authorisation list.
