Gambling and College Sports
My paper is intended for anyone who enjoys putting money on college sporting events. Or anyone who is just a big fan of college events. ... Any sports fan will surely have his, or her, own opinion on this issue. As we speak, I have several different bets on college games in the upcoming weeks. The NCAA makes their thoughts known at their website with their official stance on the matter: “Sports wagering has the potential to undermine the integrity of sports contests, and jeopardizes the welfare of student-athletes and the intercollegiate athletics community” (NCAA). ...
