The concept of faith
Faith is a word of many synonyms. The Webster dictionary states that faith is the complete acceptance of a truth, which cannot be proved by the process of logical thought. In Hebrews 11:1 the Bible says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. And Charles Fillmore, author of The Twelve Powers of Man, also agrees that faith is the assurance of things hoped for. Faith is an abstract concept and one that many people find hard to explain. Having faith is something that everyone possesses whether they are aware of it or not.
People have faith in many different aspects of their lives. Most commonly faith is associated with religions such as Christianity.
