AH! It’s another bright beautiful morning in Audubon Park. This particular day would be called Thursday. As I began to jog, I thought to myself there really couldn’t be a more euphoric day for a run in the park. Everything about the day seemed perfect; the sun gleamed off the water and created a glimmer that even the most beautiful woman couldn’t accomplish. I look down to find two ducks letting out their usual last minute plea for just one more “Quacker.” A deep growl changes their mind. As I leave my corny state of mind, I began to take in my surroundings again. I couldn’t begin to fathom what this jog would be without the beams of radiant sunlight piercing through the trees like chards of glass.
