Eminem was born, Marshall Bruce Mathers III in Kansas City, Missouri. ... Marshall’s father abandoned his family before Marshall was a year old. Switching schools every two-three months made it difficult for Marshall to make friends, stay out of trouble, and do well in school. Marshall and his mother finally settled down in the East-side of Detriot when he was twelve. ... One day, while Marshall was in the washroom, D’Anglio came in and beat him to a pulp. But the thing that really hurt him the most was during recess in Marshall’s first year at the school. Marshall was taunting a younger friend of D’Anglio. D’Anglio noticed and came running from the other side of the schoolyard and hit Marshall so hard into the snow bank that he blanked out. Marshall was sent home and his ear started to bleed.
