Just One Night Feb.13,2004 Clouds flood the sky and the rain pours down hard. It’s six o clock but the storm makes it seem much later. Thunder startles me so I pick up the phone and call you. You know I hate the sound of thunder so you’re not surprised at all to see my number across your phone. You pick up on the first ring, “Yeah?” I tell you that I don’t want to be alone in the storm and ask if you could come over to keep me company. Your reply of course is yes. Ten minutes later I call you back to see if you’re on your way and you answer by ringing the doorbell. I answer wearing a satin red robe and under it nothing. You come in to see the apartment is dark with nothing but candles lit for light. (Not trying to set the scene like this on purpose but due to the storm the powers out).
