Racism and prejudice has always played a major role in society. ... When we think of racism we usually think of African-Americans serving as slaves and the torture they have been put through for at least the last 300 years. But a lot of us tend to forget that racism also involves many other minorities such as Hispanics and more recently Muslims. ... Racism is not as open as it was in the past; today its sheltered on a personal level but still victimizes many. ...
