This play opens up in a different tone then Doll house. It’s a play of a delusional man Willy, and his pursuance of his family’s success and image. Willy is a salesman that is older but in his prime was a top notch road salesman. Now older and still working for the same firm for 30 years, he finds himself still on the road but facing exhaustion from traveling. His wife Linda is a housewife that always is there for Willy. She cares deeply for him and always encourages willy to talk to his boss about staying in New York so he doesn’t have to ware his body down from all the traveling. This shows he commitment to him and her willingness to take care and look out for him. In there conversation about willy’s job we find that he has got an many of car accidents while he travels.
