I believe that the most urgent problem in our community is the racism within the inner
city. It seems that lately there has been an outrageous amount of violence in the city
relating to racism. Many of the police arrests lately have been alleged to be spun out of
racism and there are killings almost every day. ... Cincinnati is a
beautiful city and there are many great things to view here. From museums, to things as
everyday to our people as the flying pigs; it would be a great thing for people from other
places to not be scared to take a stroll in the city and view them all.
I feel that the Women’s City Club should try to voice to the city that racism can
not be the resort to every problem we face.
