To Whomever Is Holding This Paper: This is a story that you can do what you wish with it. I just believed that it was something that needed to be told. Keep in mind that it was written by an amateur writer. Prologue In a past there was a story, one not of bravery and war but of mistakes and foolishness. It takes place in a reality close to that of ours. The story surrounded a sheep that left his herd not for freedom, but because he believed he was better than the others. For a long time he wandered alone, in pastures of the greenest grass and tastiest flowers. He ran into several herds and individuals, all asked if he wanted to join but he always refused, believing that he was better than them. Life was the best of times. Or so it was… Soon there after came a storm and the sheep had to flee. He soon found himself lost in a fog without anyone to help him, or so he believed. He knew very little of the fog and the surrounding land but he believed that he was in the best place, safe from problems. It wasn’t until the fog grew into what seemed to be solid walls did he call for the help he needed. In his attempts to escape, he failed several times and broke some items that could have aided in his escape. It wasn’t until those walls moved closer did he realize how to escape. Here is his story of escape. A Sheep’s Tale “Things must get worse before they can get better.” Oh, words cannot be spoken with more truth. As the once lonely sheep sat there looking at the sky, he wondered about the clouds and blue sky. How was it that they meshed so well? Why hadn’t he realized its beauty before? Then he found the answer looking into a rain cloud. It was because things were not always like this. At one time in the very recent past, he had been stuck in a rut and lost in a fog. Then he thought harder, still staring at the clouds. Why was it so bad in the rainy season? Why did it take so long for him to find this great wonderland? He pondered this for a long time until he felt an itch. He stopped his thinking and scratched it. Then it came to him.
