Everybody in the world needs water. Water is used every day to help us. We drink water, bathe in water, use water to cook with, and to make products. Water is one our most demanded resources. Since water is so important to all living organisms don’t you think we should use it intelligently, instead of taking it for granted and polluting it. Water pollution is a problem in the United States and in North Carolina, because our lakes, streams, oceans, drinking water are becoming hazardous , because chemical waste and trash are being put in them. ...
What is water pollution?
Water pollution is the corruption of water by sewage, toxic chemicals, metals, oils, or other materials. Water pollution comes from businesses, farms, homes, industries, and other sources. What pollution is defined “to make foul or unclean; dirty.” Water pollutants can be visible or invisible. We all know what visible pollution is. Visible pollution is when you’re at a lake and you see McDonald’s hamburger wrappers in the water, or you’re about to go swimming and a dead fish pops its head out the water, which is absolutely disgusting.
