As future managers of information technology, we should learn from the mistakes that Nestle committed in implementing an enterprise wide system. Two mistakes can be identified from the case of Nestle: 1) in implementing a system wide enterprise model, one has to involve staff that will be directly affected by the new business process; and 2) the planning process should carefully be implemented in a way that would include everything from A to Z.
