1. Children who watch many aggressive programs on television tend to be more aggressive than average. Why doesn’t this observation prove that televised aggression causes aggressive behavior? Studies show that when large groups of children watch a lot of television violence they will be more prone to behave aggressively. So not all children will become more aggressive but many will. Many factors effect the chances that hostile thoughts will be turned into actions. Even behavior that is supposed to be portrayed as good behavior isn’t. For example: when heroes also use violence behavior. Some kids understand that television isn’t real, and you don’t have to copy aggressive behavior. But other children sometimes think that it is a way to solve problems. Every child also has a much different upbringing. Depending on how the child is raised might cause the child to act more mature or immature.
