The points that I did catch in Father Roy’s speech were similar to Tarrou’s speech in The Plague. ... Although it is not necessarily specifically the school that is causing the death of this innocent blood, Father feels (and has been able to persuade thousands of others to feel the same) that the school is spreading ‘plague’.
