Victoria (1837-1901) Queen Victoria was born on the 24th of May in 1819.She was the daughter of Prince Edward Duke of Kent. When Victoria was eight months old her father, the Duke of Kent, caught pneumonia and died that winter. When Victoria was a baby there was a very big debate over her name(s), but eventually she was named Alexandrine Victoria and Princess Alexandrine. After the death of Victoria’s father she was put under the watchful eye of her mother’s controller, John Conroy, so that her uncle could not murder her and claim succession to the throne. Victoria later went on to marry Edward in July of 1818, although they bearly knew each other on they’re wedding day, they gradually became to love one another through out their marriage and had a very happy marriage. Edward VII (1901-1910) King Edward VII of England was born on 9th of November in 1841. He was the eldest son of Queen Victoria and her husband Prince Consort Albert. He went on to get married only once to a Princess Alexandra of Denmark in 1863 when he was 22 years of age.
