After Nattie and her father reunited they walked back to the camp. While she was there
Nattie wrote to Harry everyday. ... Harry by then had a job working in
the mines and one day while reading a letter Harry had written her Nattie found a train ticket to
go to California. ... That night
Nattie talked to her father about going. ... ” The next day Nattie packed her things and went to the bus station
heading for California. As the bus was pulling up to the stop Nattie found Harry waiting for her
she dropped her bags and ran into his arms. As they walked to Harry’s apartment Nattie told
Harry how she and her dad had found each other and that the wolf had rejoined his pack. Harry
told Nattie how he had found the mining job and that he was glad she had come to California.
