	Some Christians would agree with this statement because people that need help can become used to it and become dependent on the charities helping them. ... Some Christians also believe that this charity encourages laziness and not work for the help that they are given. These Christians agree that short term help is acceptable for instance after a natural disaster like an earthquake. Short term help would offer basic shelter and food to those people who have lost their homes and help restore a community.
