If death is inevitable, then we are all doomed to die. ... Furthermore, death is a mystery, for those who traverse it cannot come back and tell us the experience. No wonder we are all too afraid of grasping death. Consequently, we get so devastated about hearing of someone’s death. Death is after all, significant in view of the fact that someday we will confront it.
But is death something of value for those so-called victims? Was there freedom involved in choosing their death? ... It was a ‘bolt from the blue’ that made death arrive sooner to the victims; the same goes true for the World Trade Center and Java bombings.
