	Should New York State mandate that all high school graduatesmeet the requirements for an all regents
	I believe that New York State is trying to raise the academic standards of the state’s schools. They believe that by requiring all students to obtain regents diplomas is the way to do this. Although the regents exams are a good way of assessing the majority of New York public high school students, I cannot agree with their policy. In my opinion, New York State should not mandate that all high school graduates meet the requirements for an all regents diploma for the following reasons.
