A mandatory seatbelt law would also be better for the economy and the average consumer when it comes to taxes, insurance and overall health care. Many other countries have initiated a mandatory seatbelt law and have reduced the number of fatal accidents over the years. By logic these basic facts prove that seatbelts should be mandatory to wear in the US. ... Death and serious injury can be prevented if people just buckle their seatbelts.
