The novel, The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, inspired and intrigued me like no other novel had ever before. I am generally not a big fan of books. So, when my friend recommended the book to me, I was rather hesitant because it looked very long. However, the novel instilled great curiosity in me because of some of its content. It was a shock to me because no novel had ever had such a meaningful impact on my perspective like this novel had. This novel captivated me so much because the facts and theories presented in the novel cast doubt on some of my core beliefs in Christianity. However, reading the novel did not change my attitude about Christianity. As a Christian, I felt slighted by some of the theories and claims in the novel.
