Is Revenge Justified
According to the oxford dictionary revenge is “the act of taking vengeance for injuries or wrong.” How much vengeance if any is justified, and at what price? Is there really any point in revenge, because after all it just comes back to haunt you. ... Was this revenge justified? ... Taliban spokesman Abdul Hai Muttmain even warned the USA about retaliation when he said ``If a country or group violates our country, we will not forget our revenge. ... ” In this situation the moral feeling’s were so strong that revenge was justified, regardless of the consequence. Since revenge occurs so much in everyday life it is a very complex topic and the answer to whether it is justifiable or not relies on what the persons morals are in life.
We have lost many icons in our society to revenge over the past years. ... So, in most peoples opinion this revenge was not justified at all. ... When that credibility and respect was violated by damaging words, revenge to any extent was justified. ...
One of the down sides to revenge is that it gets in a loop, almost like a negative feedback one at that.
