“A Christmas Carol” was a story written by Charles Dickens a famous novelist in the Victorian time like J. ...
In “A Christmas Carol” there is a stubborn money crazy man called Ebenezer Scrooge who hates Christmas and hates everyone who likes it so everyone hates him but throught the novel various things happen to him so by the time the novel finishes Scrooge is the opposite to what he was at the beginning so Dickens was aiming to tell people that Christmas is a wonderful time and everyone should celebrate it no matter if they are rich or poor. ... Also when he saw all these young kids running around and having fun he felt even guiltier because he said to the ghost “A boy was singing Christmas carol on my front door, I should have given him something: that’s all” so now he feels a bit guilt of what evil he has done.
