This article proved to be a learning experience for myself in my family structure. ... The main point in the study was what effect if any it has on an infant in the family structure. ... When living in a stressful environment and dealing with alcoholic parent/parents children have a tendency to have negative feelings even during infancy. Sensitivity levels for infant and mother were found to be lower as alcoholic fathers levels of drinking increase.
