Celebs to wake up Shattered Channel 4 is planning a celebrity version of its stay-awake reality TV show Shattered, despite complaints that the show exploited participants and endangered health. A host of zzz-list celebs are tipped to make an appearance in the program – Jodie Marsh, Kate Moss, Lee Ryan and Dane Bowers – which may turn out to be pure celeb torture. An injection of famous faces is expected to boost the show’s poor ratings – up from the pathetic 2 million average notched up by the first series. Shattered wouldn’t be the first flagging TV show to opt for the celebrity makeover. Remember Celeb Big Brother where Vanessa Feltz opened her cholesterol-clogged heart to the nation, Claire Sweeney turned into the UK’s girl next door and Anthea Turner proved even more irritating than normal?
