	The United States of America is a free democratic nation. Many times we aid various countries around the world in what I believe is for a greater good. Nevertheless, sometimes this creates enemies that would choose to hurt Americans economically, physically, and in any other way possible. A perfect example of this would be the attacks of September 11, 2001. Osama bin Ladin and alquida terrorists claimed responsibility for the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon which claimed the lives of thousands. More people were killed in these attacks than the surprise attacks from Japan on Pearl Harbor that forced America to join the second world war already raging in Europe.
