Although throwing tomatoes at each other is all about fun, there are some rules that apply to this tradition. Once a man reaches the ham and successfully cuts it, every person is on the look out of the truck filled with thousands of tomatoes. In order to throw a tomato a person has to squish the tomato before hitting another person. Getting hit with a hard tomato is something no person would like because it can cause serious bruises and other effects.
