Court Observation Report
I attended Kingston Crown Court on 22/10/03 in order to write a report. A Crown Court is regarded as an inferior court and as such it’s cases do not create precedents, however the Crown Court is bound to follow the decisions of the courts above it the English legal systems hierarchy of courts.
Before I entered the court building I could tell that it was a modern structure from its appearance. ... There is also an abundance of information to make the trip to court more comfortable. ... Staff in the general office provide brief details of cases which are considered relevant and a copy of the daily list featuring the desired case can be re-created if desired (I have appended the appropriate list for this report).
