“Identities” is a story of a man who has everything but yet has nothing. ... “Identities” is also a good example of how changing your own identity to fit in could have consequences. In “Identities” Valgardson talks about the mans “grey Mercedes Benz” and the “grey stone gates”. ... The title “Identities” makes the reader think of a man who is searching for a new identity that will make him happy. ... “Identities” also wants people to realize that judging a person on what you see may bring you to the wrong conclusion.
I can relate to “Identities” on a personal level.
