John Murphy is Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Ethics Officer at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). OPG’s goal is to be a premier North American energy company, while operating in a safe, open and environmentally responsible manner. OPG has a mixed generation fleet of nuclear, fossil, hydroelectric and green power with a capacity of 24,278 MW. These assets have a value greater than 17 billion dollars. John was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President Human Resources in May 2000.
