The United States labor market has transcended in the past four decades. In the 1950’s and 60’s the labor markets were very segregated, and discriminatory. ... There are affirmative action laws that are also in place to help minorities in the labor markets of today. With all of these safeguards in place minorities still have the audacity to complain about discrimination in the labor market. The labor markets of today are not affected by widespread discrimination and, although studies that have been done (by minority activists) that lead to this conclusion, they are not accurate. The affirmative action laws that are in place are also a form of reverse discrimination, which directly effects the labor market leading to inefficiency, and tensions in the workplace.
