Reordering
The first of the text-manipulation strategies—reordering—is familiar to most language teachers. The teachers who often use this strategy joke that their students must think of English as a giant word-and text jumble. Dicker suggested using three techniques in reordering. Letter—the smallest unit in linguistics—is the start to begin using reordering strategy. ... For example, Dicker used a poem by Robert Frost’s “The Road Not Taken.” The students can study sound/letter correspondence using the final words from each line in the second stanza (fair, claim, wear, there, same). ...
