Abstract:In recent years, many countries have been giving special interest on space program, especially multipurpose high resolution and hyperspectral satellite. Sensor models are of particular importance to stereo measurements and image ortho-rectification. There have been so many researches on satellite camera model. In general, Sensor model for satellite imagery could be categorized into three groups: physical and mathematical models. In this study, according to the physical imaging process, we developed the geometry collinearity equation of push-broom sensor with the Kepler parameter of the orbit and the attitudes of satellite. Testing the sensor models on a SPOT5 imagery of some area, the planimetric precision is 83.392m,then the authors adjust the Kepler parameter and attitudes using one single ground control point, the planimetric precision is 24.324m including the measurement errors as well as the modeling error. It has been found that the model is not sensitive the location of the ground control point used for modeling.
