There are many ways that the Shakespeare’s Renaissance Tragic Hero Macbeth and the Anglo-Saxon Hero Beowulf are similar and different. From reading the two it showed that Beowulf was an epic hero and Macbeth was a tragic hero. Beowulf was basically a story of good vs. ... They both were ambitious but Beowulf’s ambition was for fame. I think Beowulf was very noble because his behavior thought out his life.
