Censorship is all socially structured proscription or prescriptions which inhibits or prohibits dissemination of ideas, information, images or other messages through society’s channels of communication whether these obstructions are secured by political, economic, religious or other systems of authority. Censorship has been a major issue since there has been television and radio. Some people feel that showing murders or nudity on television invades there privacy. Some other people feel that showing racism on television is also wrong. People who feel that way about racism believe that when other people see it, other people will follow by what they see on television. There are many different things that people think should be censored that has not been censored yet even though many things already have been censored on television and on the radio such as like swearing and the use of drugs being cool. Some people like myself feel that we should not have censorship. It not only takes are freedom of speech but also takes away are freedom of knowledge. When everything is censored, especially the internet, it is hard to research all the aspects on a subject.
