Although it is highly evident that most Artists are more concerned about their music being heard rather than making money from it, we should still be aware that the Record Label are the main financial victims, as they own the copyright to the music. By considering very recent documentation on this, it is evident that copyright owners of music such as EMI and Sony have taken action against music piracy:
