There are two types of language that we rely on to express thoughts and feelings. One of which being I language, and the other being you language. You language is not a recommendation for interpersonal communication, it puts the responsibility for feelings and actions onto other people rather then yourself. You language tends to be less descriptive, accusatory and at times abstract. For these reason you language is not effect to promote change. You language puts the blame on the other person rather than yourself for the emotions felt. ... I put the burden of my emotions on them by sayings such things as “you make me feel stupid” or “ you try to upset me. ... Although you language is the most inefficient it is used most often, because it is easiest, and comes more naturally.
